KEB Hana kicks off mobile banking service in Vietnam
It will allow immediate cash wiring through a one-time passcode upon user's request.
KEB Hana Bank launched its Global 1Q flagship mobile service in Vietnam in a move to simplify and expound their cash transfer service, reports Korea Times.
Through the new service, immediate cash wiring will be possible through a one-time passcode issued upon the user’s request which will be sent directly without having to download an additional app. The new cash transfer service will be readily available if transactions are sought by account holders with whom the user has previous transfer records.
The app also automatically identifies the user's current location. Moreover, it allows users to check their account balance, loan conditions, exchange rate information, as well as recommendations on financial products, and make overseas cash transfers.
"The service is expected to draw popularity from locals as well as Korean government officials and business people living there. The newly added function of checking the status on approval requests will help our corporate clients use our updated, customer-oriented service more conveniently," a KEB Hana official said.
According to the bank, the app will also be available in Canada, China, Japan, Indonesia, Brazil and Panama.
