ANZ continues Vietnam expansion
ANZ Bank Vietnam opened a Transaction Centre in Hanoi and a branch outlet in Ho Chi Minh City. It plans to open a further six new transaction offices over the next month.
The new outlets are part of a network expansion programme that ANZ commenced following ANZ’s incorporation in Vietnam in October 2008.
"Our goal to be one of the top banks in Vietnam is underpinned by our commitment to deliver global quality products and services for individuals and corporate clients, including in key economic growth areas such as agribusiness and infrastructure," said ANZ Chief Executive Officer Vietnam Ms Thuy Dam.
The new Transaction Centre at 14 Le Thai To, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City Branch at Melinh Square are full-service outlets and offer personal finance lending and deposit products, including a variety of transactional, savings and investment accounts together with consumer lending products such as credit cards, auto finance and home loans. These ANZ outlets also offer corporate financial services including lending, trade finance, cash management and foreign exchange.
ANZ was one of the first foreign banks to operate in Vietnam and establishing its first office in 1993.
