Citibank Malaysia eyes double-digit revenue growth
Opening of 4 new branches is part of lender's aggressive expansion.
Citibank Bhd is expecting a double-digit growth in revenue this year with the opening of four new bank branches on Tuesday and new product offerings.
Its Chief Executive Officer Sanjeev Nanavati said with the expansion of new branches in Taipan USJ, Cheras, Melaka and Kuantan, Citibank is poised to grow aggressively across all businesses in Malaysia.
"The branches will extend Citibank's network to eleven, from the current seven, following authorisation by Bank Negara Malaysia last year," Nanavati said, during a press conference Tuesday, after the launch of the new branch in Taipan USJ.
"The new branches will be managed by more than 80 qualified staff," Nanavati added.
