Resecurity wins Middle East Technology Excellence Awards 2024 for Identity Protection

The cutting-edge cybersecurity solution has provided a robust layer of security for consumers and businesses in the region, covering the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Oman and now Qatar, with the company successfully expanding coverage across all GCC member states.

The U.S.-based cybersecurity company Resecurity, protecting major Fortune 100 corporations and government agencies globally, has made a huge leap in combatting cyber threats with the development of its Digital Identity Protection solution, which has provided a robust layer of security to consumers and businesses across the Middle East. This solution comes amidst the widespread cybercriminal activity targeting digital identities in the region, which has led to economic losses and fraudulent activities, as well as data theft threats to numerous enterprises.

According to the FBI's IC3 analysis, losses connected to cybercrime activity exceed US$12.5b in 2023, up US$2b year-over-year, created a major problem for society globally. The Digital Identity Protection solution enables real-time monitoring of Dark Web activity, data breaches, and fraudulent transactions, protecting consumers from the risk of account takeover and identity theft. It ensures an all-encompassing defence mechanism for users to protect their data.

One of the first integrations has been arranged in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, covering over 1 million users when the company introduced the offering at Blackhat MEA.
