Sheran Mehra appointed Head of Group Strategic & Marketing Communications at DBS Bank
Bank set on rapid expansion plans.
Sheran was former Head-Resort Marketing, Mahindra Holidays & Resort India Ltd. Sanjiv Bhasin, Chief Executive Officer and General Manager, DBS Bank, said Sheran brings in with her over a decade of experience in marketing and branding.
Sheran’s core key result areas are competitive analysis, advertising and communications, consumer research, planning and strategy and branding.
She began her career in advertising which included assignments with SSCB, Lintas and Ogilvy. After a stint in advertising, she ventured into financial services marketing with HSBC.
She then moved on to Barclays Bank PLC in India as Head of Marketing for India. She now has the task of enabling DBS Bank’s aggressive business plans and making the bank one of the leading banking brands in India.
