CIMB appoints Hatao non-independent non-exec director

The CIMB Group has appointed Katsumi Hatao as its non-independent non-executive director.

 

Hatao, a nominee of the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ Ltd, is currently managing executive officer and deputy chief executive of the Global Business Unit of the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, a wholly-owned commercial banking subsidiary of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group Inc.

Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ holds five per cent equity in CIMB Group.

Hatao succeeds Hiroyuki Kudo who previously represented Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ.
