Standard Chartered appoints Michael Jakubik as global head of commodity structured finance

He reports to Arun Murthy, Global Head of Commodities.

According to a release, Standard Chartered has appointed Michael Jakubik as Global Head of Commodity Structured Finance. Michael is based in Singapore and reports to Arun Murthy, Global Head of Commodities.

In this new role, Michael will be helping to drive the Bank’s commodities business by working across internal business units to deliver commodity structured finance solutions for our clients.

Michael joins Standard Chartered from Standard Bank in London, where he was Head of Commodity Structured Solutions. He brings to the Bank an outstanding track record and a wealth of experience in the international commodity market and client servicing.

Standard Chartered’s commodities business has enjoyed significant growth in the past five years. The success is built on the Bank’s client-centric strategy where we provide our clients with a full range of services to meet their needs.
